Job Description/Responsibilities: Cleveland, Ohio Area / E-Commerce Software and Electronics Company is seeking full-time .NET Developer/willing to do some System Administrator tasks. Candidates must have coding knowledge to work within this IT-department. A minimum of four (4) years working experience is required for this position.
Working Knowledge & Broad Experience: Working knowledge and some experience with the following programs and languages are required: HTML/XML/XSL, ASP.NET, VB.NET, ADO.NET and VBA. Must be familiar with performing maintenance and performance optimization of SQL Server 2000, knowledge of stored procedures/triggers and experience using Windows Server 2000/2003. Working knowledge of MS Access, Exchange Server, or EDI, a definite plus!
Individual will have involvement in IT/marketing initiatives that require knowledge in Search Engine Optimization, Data Feeds, Customer Relationship Management, EDI and possibly third-party solution providers.
Development, design, and enhancements to the Company's current Internet websites. Shared duties of some systems and application administration to ensure 24/7/365 operations of SpaceBound's e-commerce site(s) and support applications.
Partially responsible for managing databases, converting content to proper web format and incorporating it into the site(s) using current Internet standards. Must be creative and able to lead certain project development initiatives, focusing on new technologies that promote the Company's overall e-commerce presence.
Candidate would also assume some responsibility for management and enforcement of: customer databases, servers, software and assist with the tracking of various e-commerce marketing initiatives and some implementation. Responsible for integrating new methods to streamline inter-departmental processes.
Knowledge of contingency and recovery procedures for software, hardware, encryption, security, firewall or any other potential system failures, a plus.

Salary: This is a full-time salaried position. On average this position requires a 9am to 6pm commitment. Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience and Midwest region salaries and cost of living scale. Please submit negotiable salary requirements when forwarding resume and skill set page.
